A Man, His Dog, And A Mountain!
Congratulations to Dr. Louis Nagy on your new family member - Echo - Ch. Kaimar Taza Hot Beach Echo of Persia (Drifter x Dinah).
Lou traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to Darrington, WA to travel with Echo to his new home - all he asked for was a photo of himself and his new dog with a "snowy mountain" background. Whitehorse Mountain and I were happy to oblige!
In addition to Echo, Lou is also "owned by" Echo's littermate Sawyer - so it was a real family reunion when Echo arrived in PA.
Thank you Lou for the love and care you provide to these two boys. People like you are what make it all worthwhile!

Rita And Her New Family

We are thrilled to annouce the arrival of the Fibber x Rita puppies.
One male (blue brindle domino) and One female (blue) were born on April 16th. Mom and Babies are doing great and we could not be happier!

We are proud to announce that Eva is now Champion Kaimar Taza SandTastic of Persia! Eva finishes her Championship today with her buddy Bruce Clark of Shylo by her side.
Eva is the fourth Champion for her Mommy Ch. Kaimar Playin Wit Dinah Might and an amazing Champion number 30 for her famous sire MSBIS Am. Can. Ch. Persia's Sandrift.

Wow! Eva goes WB for a 5 point major at the Monterey AHC Specialty under judge Richard Souza - Coastwind Afghans following the AHCA National Specialty. Thank you Bruce and Stephen - Shylo Afghans for doing such a great job taking care of and presenting Eva. This win leaves Eva within one point of her Championship.

I am very behind in my news reports these days!
It's been nearly a year now since we moved into our new home in Arlington (Darlington) WA. Humans and doggies are all loving their new "digs."
We had a new litter born at Kaimar on March 23, 2007. They are growing up and have begun to test the waters on the show scene. We wish all the new owners best of luck with their kids.
I guess my New Year's Resolution should be to keep more current with my News!

Quite a lot has happened for us in the last 8 months. We sold our home in Snohomish, and bought a new home under construction. It is finally nearing completion and we will be moving in at the end of this month.
During construction we have been staying with our friends Sandy Frei and Terri Vanderzee. We love and appreciate them and send a huge thank you for all they have done for us. They are the definition of true friends.
We will have more exciting news to share at the end of March. 2007 is going to be a great year!

Fibber goes Best In Show at the Western Washington Hound Association!
This was another unforgettable day for us when Ch. Kaimar's Nothin But The Truth - Fibber - was Specialty Hound Group Best In Show under judge Kent Delaney.

No foolin! Kaimar, Taza and Persia Afghans are pleased to annouce that "Tru" - Taza Kaimar Be Tru To Me Persia - has joined his new family. Tru will be residing with Sandy Nelson - Karizma Afghans, and will be co-owned by Sandy along with Janet Williams.

I was pleased to have the opportunity to judge the Sweepstakes classes at the Shoreline DFA show held in conjunction with the AHCC Specialty and the Western Hound Association shows. A fantastic show site, beautiful dogs, and sunshine. What more could you ask for?
My Best In Sweeps winner was a lovely black and tan dog from the 12-18 month class: Summerwind Me N Myself N Pamir - owned by Georjean & Don Jensen and Rosemary Sutton.
I am told the following weekend "Ike" was BOB over 2 Specials and on to Hound Group 2! My sincere congratulations to all concerned on this very nice. win.
